I like the picture above! Go get um’! I want to share a message here that I posted on Facebook a couple days ago:
PLEASE consider public transportation, biking, or walking! My personal experience through biking is that I see hundreds of thousands of cars going passed and I don’t think drivers can possibly realize how many of them there are and how loud and smelly their cars really are. For a human on a bicycle I can testify that cars are disruptive to everything around them: “Auto exhaust… contains carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, benzene, formaldehyde, lead, and tiny particles of matter that can lodge in the lungs.” In terms of the oil companies, the change that must take place in this country and world has to start with us. If nothing else, please take some time to IMAGINE the possibilities of a cleaner world that no longer uses oil.
